Strive For Progress Not Perfection. A little by little, day by day. We all want to be perfect in some ways. I think it started in a school where we have been taught not to make any mistakes to get the best marks. I have been working on a book project for over one year with the intent of have the perfect best seller, the perfect resource, the perfect book on entrepreneurial success — and guess what – the book is far from completion. Here is the lesson I learned: strive for progress not perfection. Yes there is a time for perfection and there is a time for completion. But the only way to complete something is to make progress — while it may not be perfect – you can continue to make it better. My workout session with personal trainer @TroyFit23 reminded me to focus on the progress we are making don’t worry about being perfect. Listen up it does not matter how slowly you go as long as you keep moving forward. Everyone started somewhere. Want to be better at something? Work on it. Improvement is your personal choice. If you would like to stay where you are, that’s fine. On the other side, no one can stop you if you decide to level up. Many people wait for the perfect moment to start. The truth is there is never a perfect moment. If you want to do something, do it now. You should strive for improvement, growth and understanding. Think big and beyond yourself. Life is too short to settle for less. By taking small steps every day, you will get there. You have to find something you believe in, and you will go beyond your limits. By doing it for yourself, not for others, the motivation will last. Once you know WHY, you need to find out HOW. Then you work on finding your path and keep moving forward. A little by little, you will get there.
